VERIFIED was about the search for authenticity and acceptance amidst the growing pressures of social media and living in a digital age.
With a fresh set of dynamic songs penned by Multi-Story Orchestra’s own Young Creatives, as well as a new script by upcoming Peckham playwright, Montel Douglas, Verified (2024) offers audiences a unique and unforgettable experience. Written entirely in rehearsal spaces in South London, the show’s narrative is influenced by the Young Creatives’ relationship with social media – covering the dangers of online life as well as the search for acceptance and authenticity amidst the growing pressures of living in the digital age. Alongside the orchestral composition of acclaimed Artistic Director, Kate Whitley and direction from London-based songwriters Fran Lobo and Abimaro Gunnell, Verified is sure to be an orchestral performance unlike any other that audiences will think about long after they leave their seats.
