Melissa Wong (Chair)
Melissa is a strategist and consultant who has worked across the arts and cultural sector on local and national initiatives that create meaningful change for people and communities. She holds a PhD in Music and continues to pursue her love of music through piano and songwriting. A Brixton resident and longtime audience member of Multi-Story, she joined as Chair of the Board in 2025.
-
Adele Cross (Vice-Chair)
Adele believes that for a pioneering organisation like Multi-Story, relationships are just as important as artistic expertise. When imagination is their currency, the best ideas come from working together. She has spent the last twenty five years immersed in the creative world of the BBC, learning the ropes from amazing colleagues across music radio, TV, and Learning. Every step of that journey was guided by genuine insight and a forward-thinking eye.
Her career has been passionately focused on developing talent and championing diversity and inclusion in all its forms. She truly believes that talent is already here at Multi-Story Orchestra. She is honoured to play her part with such a vibrant, hopeful, and ambitious team that is redefining what an orchestra can be, and who it is for.

Jo Armitage
Jo joined the Board in 2023 after 10 years of unmitigated joy as an MSO audience member. She brings 35 years of experience in education and a passion for creating opportunity for and with young people. She has a particular responsibility for safeguarding.
-
Natasha Roe
Natasha joined the board of Multi-Story after her youngest children were part of the first projects Multi-Story did with primary schools in Peckham. They loved it so much that Natasha applied to be on the board as soon as there was a chance to do so. In her day job, she is a consultant for a wide range of UK and international charities. For Multi-Story she supports the team on fundraising and how Multi-Story cares for the environment.

Peter Lindsey
Peter has been a Trustee since 2018 and loves to play and sing in his spare time. He is co-founder of a new venture exploring immersive large-scale classical music experiences, and has a background in business leadership, strategy and transformation from his time at Bain & Co. and as Chief Strategy Officer at Telegraph Media Group. In the increasingly distant past he was a Choral Scholar at King's College, Cambridge.

Sinead Walsh
Sinéad brings over a decade of experience across mental health, education and organisational development to her role as a Trustee. With a background in psychology and a passion for genuine community engagement, she has spent her career championing inclusivity, accessibility and wellbeing - values that sit at the very heart of MSO’s work.
What truly motivates Sinéad is witnessing people feeling seen, welcomed and empowered. That’s why MSO resonates so deeply: its belief that music should belong to everyone, and its bold, joyful way of transforming spaces and communities through sound.
A lifelong believer in the transformative power of music and the arts, Sinéad feels genuinely privileged to support an organisation as inspiring and imaginative as MSO.
Outside of work, she can usually be found at gigs, theatre shows or exhibitions and is currently (enthusiastically, if not yet skilfully!) learning the saxophone.
