The Multi-Story Orchestra believes in creating a safe and nurturing environment for all. Here, you'll find information on our commitment to safeguarding, our safeguarding policy, and ways to report a concern related to a child or vulnerable adult taking part in a Multi-Story activity.
We recognise the right of all children and vulnerable adults to be protected from harm. Their welfare is paramount in all the work we do and the decisions we take. Safeguarding is always our priority.
We address safeguarding throughout our work, through prevention, reporting and response. We are committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants and audiences. We expect all adults involved in our activities to take responsibility for the highest standards of care.
We are committed to working in partnership with children, their parents, carers and other agencies to secure children’s welfare. We extend this commitment to those supporting vulnerable adults. We always listen to and respect the rights, wishes, and feelings of children, vulnerable adults and their families.
This policy applies to anyone working on behalf of Multi-Story Orchestra, including the Board of Trustees, paid staff, volunteers, freelancers and agency staff. It is discussed with all partners and others we work with in any capacity. Our Board of Trustees review our Safeguarding Policy annually. The policy at the link below was reviewed in December 2023.
