M: What made you get involved with Multi-Story Orchestra?
S: I did drama at uni and wanted to go into music facilitation but couldn’t find a way in. Out of the blue Kate messaged me and invited me for an interview following Abi’s recommendation. This is definitely the most rewarding job I’ve had in my life. I came from a love of facilitating and am so lucky to be able to get more creatively involved in the projects.
M: What is your favourite part about your role at Multi-Story Orchestra?
S: I just love how versatile it is. In the last three months, I’ve been able to do so many things and now I’m acting as the creative producer for the summer season. I feel valued and supported by everyone in the company.
M: What is your favourite type of music?
S: I like a really big mix of music. I like house, indie rock and art pop a lot. And Dolly Parton. Always Dolly Parton.
M: What is the most surprising fact about yourself?
S: I’ve got a scar on my belly because I was 6 weeks premature. I think it’s interesting because when I was younger I thought everyone had that.
M: How do you spend your free time?
S: I like going to the cinema and hanging out with my friends. I’m really getting into swimming and am starting a production company with my friend so that takes up a lot of my time!
M: What are you most thankful for?
S: I am very thankful for my family and friends. They are all the most selfless people I’ve met and I am very grateful for each of them holding me up during difficult times.
