Our flute player Hannah Grayson has curated this evening's performance featuring the virtuosity of Louise Farrenc's Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano, and George Crumb's sounds of the ocean in Vox Balaenae. Crumb's seminal work is inspired by whale songs and features all sorts of unusual effects including paper clips and glass rods in the piano!
